Al Quran says that the believer must “bear true witness, and to remove all cause of misunderstandings in our dealings as between man and man”.

• Al Quran also states that “though falsehood my furious for a time, in the end, the truth will prevail.” I have come to understand that there are many lies and only one truth. Islam is that truth. Consider that prayer is taking place around the world simultaneously.  It’s amazing! No matter what time it is, no matter where you are there is someone literally praying every second of every hour somewhere.  Can you imagine Muslims offering Salat daily 5 times a day without ceasing everywhere in the world?  For me, that’s the WOW factor.

ASA Dear sisters:  Welcome to all those who have chosen to visit this site and to those that are yet to come.  We don’t fully know yet how Allah will bless us.  We open to receive from Him all that He has to offer.  It is truly encouraging to know your desire to learn and understand our deen.  We are a diverse group of women in age, ethnicity, and knowledge.  Which means, we each have something to offer.  None of us knows everything there is to know about our deen.  Frankly, when we get to that point we’ll be in Jenna LOL.  There’s a saying “just when you think you know everything there is to know, that’s when you find out how little you really know.” 

Focus:

We are going to focus most of our time on making Salat, especially for new shahadas that are eager to learn theirSalat.  For those who know how to perform your five obligatory prayers please stay, there are topics of interest for you as well.  As stated previously we all have something to offer, please send your feedback and comments so that can provide information you wish you explore.

We are also going to practice Dhkuring and other forms of remembrance as well.  Dhkur protects us and strengthens our relationship with Allah.  There are a few things I want you to remember. Many times, when we are Dhkuring, praying are reading Quran our minds wonder or we’re just not focused, meaning we have not focused our attention on the here and now.  We often are concerned with what we need to accomplish later throughout the day.

The first thing we want to do is quiet our minds and make intentions to prepare ourselves for worship. So please remember to stay focused and, most importantly do not be judgmental.  Be open to receiving from Allah SWT.   

Dear Sisters, it is our love for the sake of Allah that inspires each of us.  We seek the Rahman-tu-Allah, which is His grace and mercy that light our way.  Al Noor / the inner light that comes only from Allah.

Ask Allah to:

1. Please remove all falsehood from us so that your truth prevails in our lives.
2. Send down your clear signs Oh Allah and guides as you will!
3. Let all those who believe! Bow down, prostrate themselves in adoration unto thee our Lord: and help us to do good: that we may prosper.
4. Teach us to strive in Your cause as we ought to strive, with sincerity and discipline.  Oh Allah you have chosen us, and have imposed no difficulties on us……. You are our Protector – the best to protect and the best to help at all times.

C. 52 Al Baqarah [Ayatul Kursi: Introduction to – “The Throne “– this is the most well-known verse of the entire Quran]

Who can describe the nature of Allah?  The living, the eternal:  His throne extends over worlds and worlds that no imagination can compass.  His truth is clear as daylight, how can compulsion advance religion? The keys of life and death, and the mysteries of everything around us, are in His hands.  Our duty then is to seek the path of goodness, kindness, upright conduct, and charity – to grasp at no advantage from a brother’s need.  To stand by the word that is pledged.  To bear true witness, and to remove all cause of misunderstandings in our dealings as between man and man.  Amin. [Offer a moment of silence to Allah]

Ayatul Kursi: Allah there is no god but He, the living, the self-subsisting, eternal. No slumber can siege Him or sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permits. He knows what appears to His creatures as before or after or behind them. Nor can they compass ought of His knowledge except as He wills. His throne does extend over the heavens and the earth and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them, for He is the most High the Supreme in glory. Amin
